Wrap Around Care
At Woodnewton we have a thriving Breakfast Club and After School club (Tea-Time Club). This is held in the Key Stage 1 hall. It offers a range of fun activities and healthy meals. The club works closely with Early Years to cater to the needs of the younger children.
Breakfast & Tea Time Club
All booking for Breakfast and Tea Time Club are to be made on the My Child At School APP. There is no requirement to use these clubs on a regular basis, or on certain days, but you must book at least 24 hours before the date you require in order to ensure we have a place for your children. A booking and payment must have been made in advance for your child to attend.
Breakfast Club
We provide a daily breakfast club in the school hall. It offers a range of fun activities and a simple nutritious breakfast for pupils aged 3 - 11 years, before school.
The service is available from 7:45am until 8:45am, when children go to their classrooms for registration, at a cost of £3.75 per day. Breakfast is available until 8:30am.
There is no requirement to use the breakfast club on a regular basis, or on certain days, but we do ask that you pre-book the sessions with at least 24 hours notice in order to ensure we have a place for your children.
After School Club
We can provide after school care for children 3:15-6:00pm at a cost of £8.00 per day and includes a hot meal. Please speak to a member of office staff to find out more about this.
The service is registered with Ofsted which means that you can claim Family Tax Credits against the cost of the childcare.
